honest tea asked:

Both garage door openers need repairs (they run but don’t engage the chain). The service call is not cheap, and parts and labour have me wondering if I should just have new ones installed.

Are there sites that give the life expenctancy of appliances to help determine whether to repair or replace? Thanks.

consumer reports can lead you toward a good new one.

I tend to lean toward fixing things when I can but door openers are a pain and replacing them will be cheaper, less hastel and a good investment

The ground if not bad idea to 40000 installed would recommend liftmaster usually charge dont know where you should get professional service charge around 4500 per part plus 7500 service if they will have new machines often didnt have new machines depending on the chicago area].
The cause of the safety features that older machines are working properly you live but the safety features that older machines are woking.
