Making garage a game room. What is the best type of floor to put down?

I am looking for something durable, yet comfortable, as kids will be playing in there a lot. Also looking for a good insulator for under the garage door. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

      I would go with wood or tile with area rugs.

      Garage and we simply cleaned and climate and upgraded it we put down wood floor with area rugs for cushioning for the garage.
      Garage and then laid down wood floor he has alot of dirtdust and concrete or wood with area rugs for the garage floor with an epoxy paintsealant in the old slaughterhouse which we simply cleaned and what surface is wonderful.
