I have an old garage to convert into a photo studio. What material to put down as flooring?

I have an old garage I want to use as a photo studio. What kind of cheap flooring can I put down to shoot live models (carpet remnants, linoleum, etc.)? Also, should it be of any particular color or would that depend on the type of effect I want to get for a particular photo session?

The sheeting must not reflect too much light and lighter colours reflect too muchkeep that wont go away from the garage now if the backdrops must not reflect lighting affect which means your own develping using tanks as it is cement after cleaning apply heavy coating of respectible appearance colour does.
