Simon P asked:

I have a fairly big garage and want to convert it for the summer, sort of into a chill out spot. It will have a drum kit in it, freezer and waher only, and then all the rest, chill out things like a sofa etc. Its only a garage at the moment. What can you suggest in the way of insulation, which is very very cheap and easy to find, and also for flooring, as it is concrete at the moment??? Help?? Cheers

insulation in garages can be tricky. To start, most wood jams in garages arent thick ehough to support standard insulating batts. You may have to look at foam or spray insulation to cover that. Since you have your floors and walls exposed at the moment, take the time to run some extra electrical outlets around for your stuff. For flooring, snap together wood tile works well for a clean garage floor.
