Jamestown, ND (KCSi-TV News) — The Jamestown City Fire Department was called to a garage fire Monday evening, (Dec 8th) that extensively damaged 70 of 8 attached units at 1210 10th Avenue, Northeast. The call came in at about 9:35-pm On Tuesdays Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable Channel 2, Jamestown City Fire Department, Chief, Jim Reuther said the garage units were heavily involve in flames when the units arrived. 2 vehicles in the garage units were totaled in the blaze. He adds, an adjacent apartment building received heat damage, including a broken window. The fire is under investigation. An occupant of the apartment building, Melissa Cullen tells KCSi-TV News while she did not lose and personal possessions, one fire damaged garage contained items owned by a tenant…in her words, Pretty much everything she owned. Chief Reuther says, two city fire fighters were injured in battling the blaze, one with a hand injury, and other received a twisted thigh, stepping in a hold. Seven Units of the Jamestown City Fire Department were on the scene about 2 and a half hours.
