Druid Dude asked:

I plan on turning half of my garage into a workout room. Since drywalling is a bit expensive for such a project and a lot of work involved, I was thinking of just hanging some large cloth on each side. That way I get the wall enclosures and sense of privacy. Unless someone has a better yet very cheap idea. Since I’m cheaping out on remodeling, I know it won’t be great but I’d like to make the best of it.

Anyways, question is, besides the cloth walls, can anyone suggest some other things I can do to make it feel more like a workout room and not half of the garage, with about a $100 budget lol? I plan on using the other money for exercise machines and so on, so I don’t wanna spend much if anything on remodeling.

Simon P asked:

I have a fairly big garage and want to convert it for the summer, sort of into a chill out spot. It will have a drum kit in it, freezer and waher only, and then all the rest, chill out things like a sofa etc. Its only a garage at the moment. What can you suggest in the way of insulation, which is very very cheap and easy to find, and also for flooring, as it is concrete at the moment??? Help?? Cheers

honest tea asked:

Both garage door openers need repairs (they run but don’t engage the chain). The service call is not cheap, and parts and labour have me wondering if I should just have new ones installed.

Are there sites that give the life expenctancy of appliances to help determine whether to repair or replace? Thanks.
